The gas consumption of the absorption chiller for commercial facilities has been maintained at about 20% lower than during peak times.

It is a large commercial facility that opened in 2002, using gas absorption chillers as the heat source for air conditioning. Although the condenser and absorber were regularly cleaned with brushes every year, the consumption significantly increased each year until 2005. In the spring of 2006, a chemical cleaning was conducted, resulting in a reduction of annual gas consumption by about 20%. In response to this, a ball cleaning system was introduced to prevent efficiency decline due to dirt in the heat exchangers.
